Is BounceIQ GDPR compliant?

BounceIQ is operated by Wicked Sick Limited, a UK company, and processes contact email addresses only to verify them on your behalf. It writes validation results to dedicated BounceIQ properties, never modifies or deletes your contacts, and deletes your workspace data shortly after you uninstall.

Which properties does BounceIQ write back to HubSpot?

BounceIQ creates a BounceIQ property group on contacts: Email Check Status (bounceiq_status: OK, Typo fix suggested, Valid alias, Undeliverable, Catch-all or Indeterminate), Email Check Reason Codes (bounceiq_reason_codes), Email Canonical Suggestion (bounceiq_suggestion), Email Check Last Run (bounceiq_last_run) and Original Email (bounceiq_original_email). Use them in segments, workflows and reports like any other property.

How do the real-time webhooks work?

When a contact is created, its email address changes or it is deleted, HubSpot sends a signed webhook to BounceIQ. The contact is queued for verification straight away and the result is written back to its properties when the check completes, so new form sign-ups and imports are verified without anyone pressing a button.
