How BounceIQ for Salesforce works

Step 1

Connect your org

Authorise BounceIQ with Salesforce OAuth. Choose whether to verify Contacts, Leads or both.

Step 2

Initial sync

BounceIQ reads the email address from each selected record and verifies it with the same engine used for HubSpot.

Step 3

Continuous checks

New and changed records are picked up automatically every 15 minutes, so fresh leads are verified soon after they arrive.

Step 4

Opt-in writeback

With writeback enabled, results land in custom fields on each record, ready for list views, reports, assignment rules and Flows.

Under the hood

Architecture and data handling

Salesforce REST API via a Connected App and OAuth 2.0; no managed package code runs inside your org.
Writeback fields: BounceIQ_Status__c, BounceIQ_Reason__c, BounceIQ_Suggested_Email__c and BounceIQ_Checked_At__c.
A pre-flight check confirms the fields exist and are writable before anything is written.
Writeback is opt-in and limited to those fields — BounceIQ never edits or deletes the records themselves.
